Directions to Nailsea & District Croquet Club

From the south, leave M5 at J20. Follow signs for B3130 to Nailsea (turning right at each of the two roundabouts) and proceed, through Tickenham, for approx 3 miles. As you enter Nailsea, you will pass the Star Inn, a trout farm and the fire station. Turn left at the traffic lights at the T-junction in Nailsea then straight on at the Tesco roundabout. Take the first right (Nailsea Park) signposted Backwell Station and follow for about a mile. Turn left into Trendlewood Way, first left into Avening Close and just before the first bungalow on the right is a tarmac track. Follow it to its end and you will see, to the left, the entrance gate. Please restrict your speed to 10mph across the field as it is a popular place for children to play and for people to walk their dogs

From the north or east, leave the M5 at J19 and take the A369 marked to Bristol. Almost immediately, turn right at the traffic lights and follow the road to Portbury. Stay on the same road as it goes up a steep and winding road and you will come to a T junction. Turn right here and then after a few hundred yards, turn left down Wraxall Hill. Turn right at the bottom of Wraxall Hill and proceed straight on at the double mini roundabout. Turn left into Nailsea Park and follow it for about a mile.
