Nailsea & District Croquet Club was formed in 1981 and is now well-established as the only club in the area with four full-size lawns and good facilities. It is frequently used by the Croquet Association as a venue for high level events. In July 2021, on behalf of the Welsh Croquet Association, we hosted the Golf Croquet Home Internationals.  Nailsea member, James Galpin represented England – the winning team.

Our club house has  kitchen facilities enabling us to cater for many events, croquet related or just social events.  We have changing rooms, toilet facilities and disabled access.

Our summer house at the far end of the lawns is a perfect spot from which to watch the games with tea and cake in hand – home-made, of course! It’s also where we shelter from the elements when opponents are on the lawn as croquet doesn’t stop for rain.
