As you enter Nailsea, you will pass the Star Inn, a trout farm and the fire station. Turn left at the traffic lights at the T-junction in Nailsea then straight on at the Tesco roundabout. Take the first right (Nailsea Park) signposted Backwell Station and follow for about a mile. From the north or east, leave the M5 at J19 and take the A369 marked to Bristol. Almost immediately, turn right at the traffic lights and follow the road to Portbury. Stay on the same road as it goes up a steep and winding road and you will come to a T junction.
