Our team played its first match away at Bristol. Once again we were without two of our top players.  On paper Bristol had a stronger team (handicaps -2, -1, 0, 0, 2) than us (0, 0, 3, 3) so a draw was a good result.  After two rounds of doubles the score was 2-2 and each round of singles was tied.  James Galpin won all his singles and Ryan Cabble and Graham McCausland each won two singles.  Peter Dyke narrowly lost his singles matches.  James’ handicap came down to -1 and Graham’s came down to 2 as a result of their singles’ performance.
